It has a classic ruby-red hue. Initially vinous, then herbaceous with powerful and lasting overtones. Dry, warm, full-bodied, nicely tannic, and well-balanced.
Hand-harvested grapes are destemmed and softly crushed, 6–10 days of maceration in stainless steel tanks at temperatures below 28 °C, the wine is pumped manually out of the fermenting tank and back over the cap to facilitate extraction of color and flavor, a frequent delestage in the early stages of fermentation, long aging in steel tanks and barrels. 2015 Harvest.
